More horses on the road

Yep, we put another horse on the road yesterday. Hurricane made the trip up to Washington, D.C. It was a wet slog up I-81 and, no matter what her name implies, she is a fair weather girl. Good thing she was wrapped up tight in her Saran Wrap and didn’t get a drop on her.

Hurricane was more than happy to strut her stuff into the Honfleur Gallery, where she was given a fine welcome by Florcy Morisset and Beth Ferraro. Beth is the Creative Director of the Honfleur Gallery and Florcy is the juror for the Sculpture Now 2013 exhibition, sponsored by the Washington Sculptors Group. These two ladies are bringing their focused excitement to this show and there is no escaping their energy.

Hurricane is in good company at the Honfleur Gallery and is biting at the bit to show off for the opening reception on Friday March 1, 2013 from 6:30-8 pm. Come have a look at some of the finest sculpture anywhere, and hang out with me, the other artists, and Florcy and Beth.
